Round of negotiations will begin between Ecuador and EU on June 9th
Ecuador and the European Union seeks to reach a trade agreement _ in the third round of negotiations the next June 9, 2014. This was confirmed yesterday by Felipe Rivadeneira, President of the Ecuadorian Federation of Exporters (Fedexpor).
March 28, 2014 finished the second round of negotiations, held in Manta (Ecuador), with advances in tables as access to industrial goods and services.
While the themes of public procurement, access to agricultural goods and intellectual property will be discussed during the meeting that will be held in Brussels (Belgium)during the entire second week of June 2014.
According to the Minister Francisco Rivadeneira, Europe softened its position in front the issues and offered “a package tailored to the needs of Ecuador.” So far, the Ecuadorian government has not made public the topic of the round.
