Samaritan’s Purse Hospital will be at least two months in Chone

US physicians and doctors of the Samaritan’s Purse organization have extended their hands to save lives and cure hundreds of wounded left by the 7.8 degrees earthquake of Saturday, April 16.
That hospital for emergency surgery, installed on the grounds of the Teacher´s Severance Fund Office in Chone (Manabi),and which became operational since Friday, has provided medical treatment to the affected in different cities and parishes of the province.
The organization also enabled on its website a space to donate in favor of the victims.
Doctors of Samaritan’s Purse met Tuesday their fifth day of work. The Samaritan’s Purse camp has the capacity to accommodate 40 patients and provide assistance to more than 100 people daily, but for the next few hours they plan to set up 20 tents for the recovery of more people. Ultrasound images will also be done there.
