Super Earth
Scientists of the Britain’s University of Hertfordshire announced the discovery of a planet which was named “Super Earth”, because it could have oceans and an environment suitable for habitation.
According to a report carried out by scientist Mikko Tuomi, this planet is orbiting a star called HD 40307g (from 43 light-years away), along with five other planets.
It is estimated that this planet is seven times heavier than Earth and its orbit generate years of 200 days, at a distance from the star that makes possible the existence of liquid elements (excessive closeness would make it impossible for oceans), so it is supposed that this planet has similar climate to Earth.
