Sebastian Vettel won the Formula One for the fourth time
Last Sunday German racer won his fourth consecutive Formula One after winning the Grand Prix of India, with the amazing skills and strategy that have characterized his career on the slopes.
The Red Bull pilot, who started first, eventually exert its dominance in the Buddh circuit to join a couple of legends of F, Argentinean Juan Manuel Fangio and German Michael Schumacher, as the only drivers to have won four consecutive titles.
The only opponent who could beat him was the Spanish Fernando Alonso (Ferrari,) who finished in the 11th position. With three races to go in the championship (Abu Dhabi , United States and Brazil,) the German has 115 points over the Spaniard, an unattainable difference.
Vettel achieved a lead of nearly 30 seconds over compatriot Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) and Frenchman Romain Grosjean (Lotus) who ended third for the second consecutive time.
“I’m overwhelmed, I don’t know what to say. It is one of the best days of my life,” said Vettel.
With this victory, Red Bull also pocketed its fourth straight title in the constructors’ championship , although his other driver, Mark Webber , left the race due to mechanical problems .
