Pabel Muñoz, head of the National Secretariat for Planning and Development (Senplades for its Spanish acronym), announced that the public investment in 2015 will be around USD 8000 million.
Of that amount, strategic sectors will receive 32%. “Do not forget that Ecuador is making a historic change in its energy matrix. That means we will have 96% of our energy generated from clean energy by 2016”, said Muñoz.
The productive sector is second in importance and will receive 23% of the public investment. The 14% and 16% will be allocated to human talent and the social sector, respectively.
