Student leaders propose to the Mayor Nebot the creation of exclusive express

The mayor of Guayaquil, Jaime Nebot, met this Friday with student city leaders to discuss the issue of the cost of public transport fares.

During the meeting, the president of the Federation of University of Ecuador (FEUE) Students, to the mayor proposed the creation of Metrovía express destined specifically for college students and high school students.

“I think is a good idea.I’m Going to discuss that in the Metrovía (…) I think that if it is guaranteed by the students putting a schedule during peak hours, to which that special transportation be full, I see no problem because the service will be better for the students, “Nebot said.

Also addressed the preferential rate for high school students must be maintained and should be extended to university students.
