Posted On 07 Jul 2014

supercomThe Supercom yesterday imposed a fine for the daily Hoy for violating Article 90 of the Communications Law. Which indicates that the media should specify the number of copies put in circulation, as a transparency measure.

The fine imposed by the institution is $ 57,800 and shall be deposited or transferred to the account of the inspection body within three days from the date of notification, as required by law.

A week ago, Hoy executives decided to discontinue the printed daily version and move to a digital edition. In this new phase, the newspaper released the new format on friday.
