Switzerland held conversations with Ecuador on possible trade agreement

After the signing of the trade agreement of Ecuador with the European Union, Switzerland contacted Ecuadorian authorities to promote an agreement of the same type.

Francisco Rivadeneira, Minister of Foreign Trade, said that the talks with Switzerland are on good track. In two weeks he will even travel to Switzerland to discuss the details of the conditions.

Rivadeneira added that they sent information about Ecuadorian potential products and communicated to Switzerland what is required in the country.

The Minister also said that the country has held similar talks with South Korea.
