Teachers will be trained this 2014

Augusto Espinosa, Minister of Education, will train and will form the teachers to promote academic excellence. This was stated yesterday to take stock of the `Being Student´ exam´s results of 2013. 

The government’s plan has a view to long, medium and short term. In the first case, the goal is the specialization of teachers at the National University of Education (UNAE). In the medium term, it is announced an amendment to the Intercultural Education Law so experts in Mathematics, Physics, Biology, for example, could be incorporated in the teaching category G. Today they do two steps down. 

 Training programs, according to the Minister, will be implemented with technical support from international and national universities of categories A and B. He believes that students are “paying the kidnapping of the faculties of the university education in Ecuador.”
