Technology will guide the promotion of Ecuador

Information on air fares worldwide, the search for tourist destinations, among other data, are part of the agreement signed between the Amadeus IT Group and the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur).

Tourism Minister Enrique Ponce de León said it yesterday when announcing the alliance in the capital. All the information provided by the Amadeus system to the public agency will serve to elaborate the strategic promotion of Ecuador abroad. The minister stressed that the agreement is the result of the joint work between the public and the private sector. “This platform (Amadeus) will inform us about the current trends, and thus, address our promotions in an intelligent way and to the different markets.”
