Tenth Marathon of Tales and book fair in Quito

The Tenth Marathon of Tales and book fair for children and teenagers start today until Sunday, May 17 in Quito. About 40 stands of different publishing houses and bookstores with works for children and young people be present at the event. In addition, for eight hours straight each day tales will be read aloud.

The event takes place in the Crystal Palace of the Itchimbía Cultural Center and seeks to promote reading in children and teenagers. Lectures, workshops and performing activities that will introduce the spectator in the illustration, reading and writing will also be developed.
