The Assembly would appoint two members of the CNE on January 7

The new period of the National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym) would begin on January 7 with the appointment of two new members, Carlos Tayupanta and Gloria Toapanta in the National Assembly. Internal sources of the CNE reported that would be the expected date for both to take office and begin their duties.
Currently, the members Domingo Paredes and Roxana Silva, are preparing to held accountable.
Furthermore, the Participation Council convened on Sunday the interested people to apply for the competitive examination, objection and opposition to select members of the Citizen Selection Commission.
