“The Big Bang Theory” will have 3 more seasons
CBS and Warner Bros Television have signed a new contract to continue producing “The Big Bang Theory” . This means that the show will continue to be issued at least until 2016-2017 season, reaching a tenth delivery and becoming the second renovation of three consecutive years for the sitcom created by Chuck Lorre.
According to website Deadline, the show would have a new budget of over $ 4 million, so the wage of Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki (of around $ 350,000 per episode) would increase according to discussions in the coming weeks.
The contracts of the actors must be renewed at the end of the current season, and the new salaries would approach the record of receiving one million dollars per episode which was achieved by the cast of “Friends.”
As for the audience, CBS can not be happier, because the program keeps an average of 19 million viewers each week.
