The French chef, Romain de Lamar (Oui Chef), will be an exponent of the Salinas’ Gastronomic Congress
Gastromundo is the congress that since Monday has brought together 50 chefs from 10 countries to share their experiences with other guild colleagues and with the attendees, in Salinas.
The Italian Roberto Rabotti, chef and owner of the Casa Rabotti restaurant in Salinas, is the organizer of this event that will be until this Saturday.
Participants take part in workshops, talks, live cooking demonstrations as well as volunteer days. This last activity involves chefs in delegations to cook in spaces of Santa Rosa, Anconcito and in markets, for people of limited resources or senior citizens.
Romain de Lamar, French chef, and owner of the Oui Chef restaurant, will explain in a presentation – scheduled at 10:00, how to prepare sweet potato steak in potato flakes with Provencal ratatouille and mashed peas inspired by chef Paul Bocuse.
The congress is held on the esplanade of the old municipality in front of the Chipipe church.
