The press conference of the IV International Biennial of Guayaquil was held in the Luis A. Noboa Naranjo Museum
On Monday evening, April 14, was held the press conference of the IV International Biennial of Guayaquil, which was held in the premises of the Luis A. Noboa Naranjo Museum. Local media had an appointment with Philanthropist Alvaro Noboa, who opened the event.
The Bible is the main theme of the Biennale this year, with the participation of artists from Ecuador and all over the world. Attorney Pablo Martínez, Director of the Museum, who is in charge of the Biennial, has appointed the Bolivian Jose Luque as Curator of the exhibition. Thanks to the support of the Noboa Group companies and a team of collaborators, this event has become a reality, which puts Guayaquil in a highly artistic sitial worldwide.
Parallel to this event, the Poetry Biennial takes place in freestyle, which is in charge of the poet Karina Galvez and Armando Kronfle, who shall exercise as jury. `Without culture people do not transcend, culture is part of life, as we eat to live, we must feed spiritually, culturally, to pass into history,´ said Kronfle during his presentation.
The biennial also includes a fashion show prepared by designer Maria del Mar Proaño, where dresses from biblical times can be appreciated, which are handmade by herself. At the end of the press conference, the Philanthropist Alvaro Noboa noted that this is the beginning of new artistic activities, with the possibility of a Biennial in the city of Miami and a Biennial of Cinema.
