The Royal Wedding Rehearsal Began Early in The Morning
Soldiers of the three armies have lined up along the route that the couple will follow from Westminster Abbey and the Palace of Buckhingham through Parliament Square, Whitehall, Horse Guards Parade and the Mall. The rehearsal included a parade of cars and coaches that will lead and bring the bride and groom and their immediate family. The test this morning also included a parade of the guard at Buckingham Palace that attracts both tourists daily when changing of the guard, and soldiers on horseback to accompany the procession along the route.
Westminster Abbey is closed to the public from Tuesday to carry out preparations for the wedding.
Moreover, the Palace of Saint James revealed that the ceremony’s floral motifs are in charge of Northern Ireland’s floral designer Shane Connolly, chosen by Kate and William because of “the reputation of his stylish and unique samples and his creative proposals based on use seasonal flowers, natural and biological.” “Mr. Connolly is also known for the use of potted plants and trees instead of cut flowers,” they said. Floral arrangements will be kept in Westminster Abbey until May 6th that can be appreciated by the public after the wedding.
