The Selection Committee will approve the schedule for choosing new members of the CNE
The Citizen Selection Committee (CCS for its Spanish acronym) expects to approve on Tuesday the timetable for the election of two members of the National Electoral Council (CNE).
The Citizen Participation Council (CPC for its Spanish acronym) said that the commission expects to get to know today the released draft project schedule. The dates on which the aspirants will be convened to submit applications, when the citizens challenge will take place, and the call to take the knowledge test, will be announced in this calendar.
The day of the conference, the CPC will determine by a raffle the two members that will come out of the CNE.
The regulations adopted by the Board to elect these councilors notes that if two women leave the position, two women will be selected; if a man and a woman leave, a man and a woman will enter; or two women, if they are the highest rated.
