The Summit in Switzerland and visit to Spain, activities of President Noboa in Europe

President Daniel Noboa will fulfill an agenda in Europe. Through Executive Decree No. 293, Noboa announced that he will be absent from the country from June 13 to 17, 2024. 

Through an Executive Decree, President Daniel Noboa announced that he will be outside the country from June 13 to 17. He will carry out various activities in Europe.

Noboa will participate in a working visit to Spain and will participate in the Summit for Peace in Ukraine, to be held in Switzerland. 

The delegation that will accompany the President is made up of: Gabriela Sommerfeld, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility, and representatives of the General Secretariat of Public Administration and Cabinet, the General Secretariat of Communication, General Undersecretary of Office, Undersecretary of Protocol and Ceremonial.

Switzerland invited 160 national delegations to participate in the peace summit in Ukraine. 

With this event, the Government of Ukraine hopes for the support of the invited nations to legitimize the “actions for peace” mentioned by Volodymyr Zelensky, president of Ukraine.
