The tenth edition of Cybermonday will be held in Ecuador on September 16

More than 30 entrepreneurship businesses will accompany about twenty recognized brands such as Claro, Despegar Ecuador, Cinemark, Copa Airlines, Colineal, among others, will participate in the tenth edition of the Cybermonday, which will be held on September 16.

“We have been reaping many successes because we were the ones who promoted electronic commerce in Ecuador and before, this type of transaction was not a traditional method and very few did it online commerce or business,” said Juan Carlos Díaz Granados, executive director, at a press conference held on Tuesday, September 10 at the Chamber of Commerce of Guayaquil.

The businessman says that as usual, there will be several offers so that even people who are abroad can buy products from their relatives in Ecuador.

Lorena Pino, representative of Copa Airlines, said that by this date there will be special discounts, especially for flights to Mexico. “While it is true that the public from Guayaquil travels frequently to the United States, we have seen an increase in trips to Mexico, especially to Cancun and Puerto Vallarta. In that sense there will be special offers, ”said the executive.

This, according to Díaz Granados, assured that it is part of Ecuador’s relations with Mexico, at a time when the Pacific Alliance firm is being negotiated, a group that Ecuador wants to be part of.

In 2018, the ninth edition of the cybermonday had 500 thousand visitors and more than one and a half million interactions in social networks.
