Threat of Ebola Spread in Czech Republic
Posted On 28 Oct 2014
The Czech authorities reported that unknown people have threatened the Government of the Czech Republic of extending the Ebola virus in public places in the central European country unless they receive around 37,000 euros.
An intimidating letter was sent to local media, after the government did not react to the needs of offenders presented on last October 21.
“Today we received a shipment of biological material from Liberia as requested. This material comes from a virus-infected patient,” notes the letter sent to the press. If the government does not agree with our terms then the virus will be spread in public places across the country.
The threat is being investigated by the Organised Crime Unit (UOOZ) and public health experts, police said.
