This afternoon the Ecuadorian soccer team will play against Colombia as part of the South American qualifying rounds for the World Cup Russia 2018.

Ecuadorian mission is first in the table with 13 points and it expects to complete the necessary points for classification.

The Colombian team has seven points in the table and is not yet in qualifying places, so if it wins it would be showing to the continent it remains fighting despite the generational change within the team.
