Living a ‘new life’ is the proposal made by Christian music singer Analy Villafuerte, whose stage name is Analy, 29 years old.
With the theme Vida Nueva (New Life), which she interprets with the artist Carlos Javier, she seeks to express her rejection of sexual abuse or harassment. It is in modern pop genre, with a mixture of urban and tropical. “In my case I was not a victim of sexual abuse, but I was a victim of word abuse, bullying at school, (…). Several times they had to change my school (…), “she said.
The singer from Guayaquil said that people very close to her environment told her that she was not going to achieve her goals. “When I came across hope, with faith, with the love of God, I changed my life forever and I am a new person and I have that ‘new life,'” she said.
With her songs she intends to leave a seed of hope, according to the artist. “We’ve done it in every song. We have had many testimonies. I am a singer of Christian music, but the impact has been incredible (…), “said Analy, who in September was one of the guests in the variety program Despierta America, Univision.
The videoclip, which was scheduled to be filmed in Quito, had the collaboration of producer Álex Jácome, director of films such as “Con alas pa ‘volar”.
Vida Nueva (New Life) is the thirteenth theme of the artist and is the third of what will be her second album that she plans to present in 2019. The first was Guardian of my dreams, in English and Spanish. Her next single to premiere will also be in both languages.
About the composition of her songs she explained that they have the same themes of all the artists in general, but with the difference that she gives a solution to the theme. “I feel it is a responsibility, a tool that God has put in my hands so that instead of looking for a way to end your life, you can look for a new life,” explained Analy, who lives since five years ago in the United States of which four resided in New York and one in Miami.
Her trip to the USA
It happened after the opportunity to internationalize her music was opened. “We traveled to New York, I recorded my album in Central America, in El Salvador (…). They started to open more doors because we have traveled to different countries like Colombia (…), we were in Panama, in Guatemala recording a video clip, in Honduras (…), “she said.
She also commented that although her songs speak one hundred percent about God, they have been among the tops of radio stations that are not Christian, and she has also represented Ecuador on Telemundo Miami. “(Also) won prizes, in the big apple, of influence, presence in social networks, then they are different things that happen not in the Christian sphere (…),” she said.
She added that her “goal is not to become a recognized Christian singer, my goal is that all people who do not know God and their faith has died, can be like a grain of hope to remind them again that they are valuable and loved by God. ” (I)
