Toulouse Serial Killer Dies During Police Assault

The elite French police assaulted the house of the so-called Toulouse killer, the murderer was killed with a ‘bullet to the head’ when he was defending himself while trying to escape.

The elite unit of police (Raid) had received orders to “do everything possible to detain Mohamed Merah alive,” and to “shoot only in case of legitimate defense,” added the prosecutor Francois Molins. During the long operation, five members of Raid were wounded.

The prosecutor informed that Merah filmed the three assassinations of March 11, 15 and 19, time where he killed seven persons. Police found a bag with a camera used by the killer, they are currently investigating the images. (AV)
