Two earthquakes revive the grief and leave 87 injured and one dead

The earth trembled again strongly and twice in a span of eight hours. Two earthquakes of 6.8 magnitude caused drama, grief, damage and casualties on the northern coast of Ecuador, one month and two days after the 7.8 magnitude earthquake of April 16, which left 661 dead. Yesterday tremors, which mostly affected Esmeraldas and Manabi, caused fear and evacuations in Guayaquil, Quito and other cities, at 11:46 am.
A total of 85 slightly injured people, two people injured with traumas and an adult died in the Tosagua county (Manabi), this is the summary at a country level, after the two earthquakes occurred at 2:57 am and 11:46 am. Both recorded a 6.8 magnitude on the Richter scale and the epicenter was located in the east of Mompiche, Esmeraldas.
