U2 will honor Nelson Mandela at the Oscars

According to the organizers of the 86th installment of the Academy Awards, to be held in next March, the Irish rock band U2 will perform live for the first time, its song “Ordinary Love,” from the movie about the late Nelson Mandela, “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.”
The Academy had also announced that singer and actress Idina Menzel will perform “Let It Go,” main theme of “Frozen,” the Disney movie that everyone gives as certain winner for Best Animated Film.
Besides “Ordinary Love” and “Let It Go,” the themes seeking the Oscar for Best Original Song is “Happy,” by the film “Despicable Me 2” and “The Moon Song” for the film “Her.”
