Ukraine and Pro-Russian reject guilt by Malaysia Airlines downed aircraft
The Ukrainian government and pro-Russian separatists blame each other of the alleged downing of the MH17 Malaysia Airlines plane, which was shot down today with over 290 passengers on board, when flying over eastern Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that the armed forces of his country did not launch any missile against an aerial target. Likewise, he insinuated that the plane might have been shot down by Separatist forces.
He also ordered the formation of a commission to investigate the causes of the incident.
According to the Ukrainian Domestic Affairs Minister Anton Geratchenko, the plane was shot down with a missile fired from an air defense system developed to achieve objectives that are up to 25,000 feet.
Meanwhile, the pro-Russian forces claimed that the plane was shot down by troops loyal to Kiev and refused to have the necessary equipment to bring down a plane which is 10,000 feet high.
