Users make their consultations on new electric cookers
The customer service department of the Electric Company of Quito (EEQ for its Spanish acronym) and the Electric of Guayaquil (EP for its Spanish acronym) since last week have spread among its users the benefits obtained with induction cookers.
Marco Vinicio Rueda went yesterday to the EEQ Principal Office to inquire about how to purchase a new kitchen and if the wiring is made by the company or the user. Rueda was satisfied with the answers to his request, when they indicated him that he should request an inspection, request the stove of his choice and that the payment for the artifact is done through the electricity consumption bill.
Yesterday, the EP also published on its website a video explaining the use of the new stoves and the alleged saving these would provide.
On the Scrapping Plan for gas cookers, Richard Espinosa, Minister of Production, stated that it will always be the possibility of having a mechanism for that process. He said that the government is considering a facilitation mechanism to mobilize the kitchens and a decision will be taken this month.
