Diplomatic relations between Panama and Venezuela were restored, as President Nicolas Maduro. The friction was generated since March by the government of Caracas.
The announcement was made by the president during the broadcast of his weekly radio and television program “In Touch with Maduro”.
“We will deepen the economic, diplomatic, trade, energy relations,” he added, without giving further details.
Venezuelan Vice President Jorge Arreaza, who attended on Tuesday the swearing of Juan Carlos Varela, also mentioned the absolute restoration of relations from yesterday between the two countries.
