Vice prefect of Guayas is replaced by a legal counsel

Cristina Nivelo Harb, an attorney for 26 years, replaced Ludmila Nicolalde Cordero, after her resignation to participate in the sectional electoral process in February 2014.

The choosing of Nivelo was carried out yesterday during the meeting of the Provincial Council, in which she scored 18 of 19 possible votes.

Nivelo will act as vice prefect until May 14, time in which her current administrative period will end. During the month of January and the election campaign, she will replace Jimmy Jairala, since he seeks the re-election for the Prefecture.
