30S: Ecuadorian Government planned Commemorative Programs

The Ecuadorian government will held a series of acts and events to commemorate September 30, an event that is still conceived as a coup attempt.

The Ministry of Culture organized six different events in the 24 provinces, mainly in the margins of several cantons, where at the end of each function of the film called “30-S Crowd“, by journalist Rodolfo Muñoz, there will be a forum for opinion.

The massive event will be held in the museums of the Ministry in Quito, Guayaquil, Cuenca, Ibarra, Loja and Caráquez Bay. In Quito, there will be a rock concert in the South Grandstand at 19:00 (GMT). In Guayaquil, at Simon Bolivar Cultural Centre photos regarding this issue will be exhibited until Nov. 22.

There will also be graffiti competitions, youth forums, talks, exhibitions of videos, photographs, paintings, visual arts, cinema, documentaries, testimonies, marches, all acts relating to 30-S, Civic minutes with the participation of all institutions.
