6 years in prison for Carlos Pareja Yannuzzelli, Marco Calvopiña and Diego Tapia for unlawful association

Former Minister Carlos Pareja Yannuzzelli, Marco Calvopiña, and Diego Tapia were sentenced to 6 years imprisonment for unlawful association in Court No. 208 of the Northern Judicial Complex in Quito, at 00:00 on Wednesday, October 25.
By taking advantage of the abbreviated procedure, Álex Bravo, also a former manager of Petroecuador, was sentenced to three years and six months imprisonment several months ago.
According to the Court, in this case, there were more than two people who consciously committed this crime against the public administration and those involved increased their assets unjustifiably. (I)
