Ecuador Helps Japan

Ecuador has joined the group of countries that support Japan, which recently was punished by Mother Nature with an earthquake and a tsunami. The Ecuadorian Red Cross and the Embassy of Japan opened two saving bank accounts, where everyone who wants to help japanese can deposit monetary donations. 

A blog, apoyamosajapon.blogspot.gob, was also created for people to write support messages to Japan.

The director of the Red Cross in Ecuador indicated that only money can be received as donations because transporting food or other kind of donations to Japan would be very complicated.
