A Star Ejecting Water into Space was Discovered

A proto-star was discovered at 750 light years from Earth, in the constellation of Perseus. The proto-star expels water from its interior into space through 2 shot formed at both poles of the star.

The star expels every second the equivalent of 100 million times the flow of the Amazon River, at a rate of 200 000 km per hour. It has been also considered the same type as the sun, which would suggest that in the beginning, our sun had the same behavior.

This discovery is attributed to a group of scientists led by astronomer Lars Kristensen, of Leiden in Holland University.

Kristensen has said as a possible explanation that the water forms inside the star at low temperature. Then the liquid is ejected into space, where the temperature rises to perhaps 100 000 degrees, so the water turns to gas. Moving away about 5 000 times the distance between Earth and sun, the gas founds again with the cold space and becomes liquid water. (BG)
