Dead Sea Scrolls Available on Internet

The Dead Sea scrolls are from the III Century, these are the most ancient biblical manuscripts ever known. Five of these scrolls have been digitalized now by Google in collaboration with Museum of Israel, so that they can be seen online.

The so-called Digital Project of the Manuscripts of the Dead Sea allows Internet users to explore these documents with a high quality detail. The Dead Sea scrolls criticize the Jewish society in the Land of Israel. The historical content of this documents make them of the highest priority in the world.

Thanks to Google and the Museum of Israel everybody can study these scrolls. The digitalized Old Testament documents are the manuscript of the Book of Isaiah, the Manuscript of War, the Manuscript of the Temple, the Manuscript of Community Standards, the Habakkuk Commentary Manuscript. (AV)
