Guayaquil will Choose Its Queen Today

Tonight at 20:00 Guayaquil Queen Contest will take place in the Civic Center Theater, where eighteen candidates will vie for the crown to be the next ruler of Guayaquil city.

The candidates received for more than a month training in: social work, needs of the city, runway, modeling, imaging, development stage, and so on.

The crown for the future successor of Melissa de la Vega, Guayaquil Queen 2010-2011, was designed by Daniella Kronfle and valued at $ 25,000. The candidates will model clothes from 36 Ecuadorian designers. Nelson Parra choreographer worked with the aspirants in the opening dance.
