The beauty contest celebrated in Teatro Centro Civico Eloy Alfaro at 20h00 (GMT), the event was hosted by Maria del Rosario Gutierrez and Roberto Begue. The former queen Melissa de la Vega was replaced by Maria Fernanda Gonzalez Echeverria, 24-years-old, one of the 18 candidates that competed for the crown.

Now Maria Fernanda Gonzalez Echeverria will wear the crown of the Guayaquil Queen. The new queen of the city enjoys several genders of music, she also likes to attend artistic activities such as going to the theater. (AV)
