International Amnesty in defense of freedom of expression took place on Sunday at Radio City Music Hall in New York for a show for the fight of this right.

British bands Coldplay and Mumford and Sons were among the artists on stage that supported this cause.

Actor Ben Stiller and British counterpart David Walliams amused the audience by comparing the meaning of different words in English on both sides of the Atlantic.

Comedians Jon Stewart, Russell Brand, Jimmy Carr, Sarah Silverman, Reggie Watts, and Burmese, Maung Thura (aka Zarganar) were the ones who gave a humorous touch to the event, but always remembering the importance of free speech.

Zarganar said that his country’s struggle for democracy and human rights is “far from over.”
