Russia is on Alert due North Korea Rocket Launch
Moscow is prepared to take down the rocket if it deviates towards the Kuril Islands. Russia warned that the launch of the North Korean satellite announced by the Pyongyang regime violates UN regulations.
Meanwhile Russian military officials are on alert in case the rocket fails, since it could fall in the Kuril Islands. However, North Korean authorities informed that this Tuesday the preparations would be ready for the long-range rocket launch.
A representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces said, “In case that the carrier North Korean rocket deviates from its trajectory and there is danger that it falls into our territory, troops and anti aircraft defense space are willing to take it down.”
The rocket is scheduled for launch between the days 12 and 16 of April. (AV)
