CNE Reveals Results of the Amauta Yuyay Movement

Marco Morillo, “the number of valid signatures was increased because there is a better source of verification”

The National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym) today began reprocessing the verification of signatures from the Amauta Yuyay movement of the province of Chimborazo.

The Amauta Yuyay movement presented a total of 7160 signatures, of which 6348 are valid and 812 are invalid.

Marco Morillo, Amauta Yuyay representative, said that in this review, the number of valid signatures was increased, and noted that this happened “because there is a better source of verification“. (MZ)
