The president of the Football Committee, Esteban Paz, announced that he and his father, Rodrigo Paz, are analyzing the possibility of leaving the leadership of Liga de Quito.

“This is due to a staff motivation, rather than to the poor results achieved by the club this season (…) When we play a match against Deportivo Cuenca as local and we lost that day my father told me he was leaving Liga de Quito. I was so upset, that I decided to leave too. “

Stephen said he thinks leaving Liga de Quito but not for “political reasons”. He is not interested in the mayor’s office, however does not rule out the possibility of entering politics in the future.
