Head of a FARC Front Dies in Bombing

FARC camp is bombed
Today the Air Force and the department of Antioquia Army (northeast) performed a bombing that claimed the life of six members of FARC, among them was the main chief of a front of the Colombian guerrilla.
The offensive was carried out in camp of front 37 of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC for its Spanish acronym), near the district of El Bagre. Efrain Gonzalez a.k.a “Pateñame” was the chief of that guerrilla front. The military authorities of Antioquia confirmed the announcement of his passing.
After the attack, four men and two women were captured with multiple wounds due to the bombing. “Pateñame” had been accused of kidnapping the former minister Fernando Araujo, on December of 2000. AV
