After resigning from the Daily Planet, where he worked for 74 years as a journalist, Clark Kent, the alter ego of Superman, began a career as a blogger. This will be his new job in the upcoming numbers of the graphic novels published by DC Comics.

Scott Lobdell, one the authors of the character in the new edition of comics title The New 52, assured that Clark Kent grew tired of abiding the demands of his bosses and of seeing how the most important diary of Metropolis changed from giving news to just entertaining.

Currently Clark Kent/ Superman works with Cat Grant, an entertainment reporter who also quit from the Daily Planet. Lobdell said “I can be said that Superman is the most powerful person of the planet, but; how long can he stay sitting in his home with someone breathing over his neck and making him feel the less important person of the world?”, he also added  that the future of Kent will be online.

Kent had been working on the adventures of Superman for the Daily Planet since 1938, when the first graphic novels of him appeared. Mike Carlin, the current editor of the Superman comics has not dismissed or confirmed the comments of Lobdell. AV
