Museum of Polish Jews will Impact the World

Bogdan Zdrojewski, the Polish minister of Culture, pointed out that the next year Poland would be ready to open the delayed museum dedicated to the vanished Jewish community. “This is going to be an important institution, no only in Europe but also in the world,” stated Zdrojewski about the project in New York, in the Museum of History of the Polish Jews.

The museum is being constructed in Varsovia, in the site of the Jewish ghetto that became the symbol of the resistance of the efforts in the Nazi Germany. The program started with an advertising campaign a year ago, which was carried out in the World Trade Center in New York, United States, where approximately the 70% of the Jews have Polish roots.

Larry Silverstein, householder of the World Trade Center, who is an important part of the team that its rebuilding the complex that was destroyed on September 11 of 2001, said during the presentation that the 70^th anniversary of the uprising of Varsovia will be celebrated on 2013. AV
