IESS hopes to attend 400 pensioners per day

The picture on the outskirts of the Guayaquil Insurance Fund changed dramatically and now serves with more agility, the demand of hundreds of retirees who had their accounts in the Territorial Bank.

Agustin Ortiz, regional director of the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS for its Spanish acronym), indicated that they expect to reach 400 people, after that the first pay, they only attended 200 retirees.

According to Ortiz, who oversees the process, the staff has been doubled to serve the retirees and six of the ten modules of the Security Fund are available exclusively to the service.

Hundreds of retirees who had their accounts in the Territorial Bank, are waiting for their pensions in the Guayaquil Insurance Fund.

The attention to pensioners will continue until March 28, and until April 10, retirees should approach with a certificate of account in which they would like their deposits to be entered from April.
