The Council for the Regulation and Development of Information and Communication (Cordicom for its Spanish acronym) set a seventy-day deadline for that the television and radio appropriate their programming schedule according to a new regulation issued it on Friday, September 19.
The regulation, which includes local channels of audio and video systems for subscription, establishes new technical parameters for the definition of audiences, schedules, classification of programming and content, including advertising.
It states that the warning message of programming must contain at least the following warning elements : age range, violent or sexual content, if it has it, and if it contains a mechanism to access content for people with sensory disabilities.
