Netanyahu calls to stop negotiations on Iran’s nuclear plan
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, warned Barack Obama against the risks of an agreement with Tehran that would put Iran in the “nuclear threshold.”
“Iran is pursuing a deal that would raise the harsh penalties that were so difficult to establish and which would let it on the threshold of nuclear energy,” said Netanyahu.
Iran and the group of 5 + 1 (USA, UK, France, Russia, China and Germany) were given a deadline until November 24 to reach a definitive agreement to ensure the peaceful nature of Iran’s of nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of sanctions against Tehran.
“Earnestly I hope that never happens under their leadership,” said the Israeli Prime Minister.
Obama, meanwhile, asked to avoid another “tragedy” such as the experienced in Gaza during the last Israeli offensive.
