Swedish Justice reiterates that Assange will not be interrogated in London

The Swedish prosecutor insisted this Wednesday that they will not interrogate Assange in London for the rape case that the founder of Wikileaks has pending in the Scandinavian country.

“With regard to the issue of the hearing in London, I refer to what I have said, I have nothing to add today,” said in a statement the prosecutor of the case, Marianne Ny.

The ratification of the judge comes a day after a British parliamentarian affirmed that Great Britain would facilitate the interrogation in London.

The Swedish courts have repeatedly rejected the request to give testimony in London or by video-conference of the founder of Wikileaks.

Assange, secluded at the Embassy of Ecuador from June 2012, refused to travel to Sweden alleging that this country would extradite him to the United States, what the fiscal ruled out, arguing that Washington has not released any extradition request against him.
