Carlos Tayupanta and Gloria Toapanta are the official members of the CNE

It’s official that applicants Carlos Tayupanta and Gloria Toapanta are the two candidates for members of the National Electoral Council better rated and the virtual replacements of Domingo Paredes and Roxana Silva. It is known after the phase of requalification of the proof of opposition.

This December 16, the Citizens Commission that headed the contest of partial renewal met and approved the final report with the final ratings that under Section 35 of the rules of the procedure is binding. Tayupanta is first with 96 points and Toapanta with 95 points.

The Council of Citizen Participation and Social Control is scheduled to know this December 17 the report of the commission. In the space of two days it will proceed with the appointment of the principal and deputy electoral members.
