The alarm turned on by farmers concerning the smuggling of rice and milk has almost taken a month, according to the exclusive published by Daily Expreso. Now the Agriculture chamber of Zone II, requests a meeting with authorities, specific actions such as eliminating taxes and warns that other agricultural products such as beans and “mote” are illegally entering the country.

However, for Rafael Guerrero, president of the union, the economic situation is affected by many other actions, such as the increased cost of inputs and tax collection. The sum of this has meant that agriculture and livestock decrease economically.
