Correa tells to victims that those who shout will be arrested
Posted On 23 Apr 2016
President Rafael Correa, during his visit to the stricken areas by the earthquake, faced requests for help from people who were desperate.
4 days have passed from the earthquake that devastated a large part of the Ecuadorian coast.
Correa, feeling not heard by the people who were asking for help, raised his voice and headed towards one of the citizens who claimed, telling him: “Hey sir, we are in a national emergency, no one can lose his temper, no one can shouts or I will arrest that person, whether that person is young, old, a male or a female. Nobody can cry, or complaint for things that are missing, unless that person has lost his loved ones.
Water is coming, that’s no a problem, there are 3 ships that come with thousands of gallons, and with food, there is no problem with that.” (I).
